In 2012, I served as music director, composer and conductor for Akanda’s adaptation of Peter Weiss’ fantastic Marat/Sade, produced by Canadian artist Althea Thauberger.
There were five performances of the play, plus one for the inmates of the asylum, followed by a discussion. Then followed a week of filming, which was turned into a film by Thauberger which was shown in Liverpool, Toronto and Nottingham amongst others.
